    Position

    A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Office Manager at Kemflo Canada. This candidate needs to be able to wear multiple hats and be experienced with handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks and work independently with little or no supervision.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

      • Support manufacturing activities such as CRM implementation and maintenance.
      • Inventory management, involved with scheduled cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and monitor inventory levels to ensure consistent levels of resin, raw material, components, and finished goods are on hand.
      • Generate purchase orders for raw material and components.
      • Inside sales/Quoting/ Customer Retention
      • Conduct periodic meetings with suppliers to ensure product availability and to communicate changing demand issues. Assist in negotiating supply terms and participate in pricing/contract discussions.
      • Good computer skills and ability to learn and work with different software (ex. ERP, CRM)
      • Good memory for learning products and part numbers along with other aspects of the business.
      • Experience in product costing.
      • Experience with arranging freight and international custom documentation.
      • Experience in working with customers and troubleshooting problems.
      • Communicating with production and participating in production planning to cater to customer’s needs.
      • Identify key customer needs and business objectives and align them with Kemflo’s products and services.

    The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing clientele, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities within North America. This person would be required to travel frequently (often up to several hours of driving per day) and fly down to our warehouse in Houston Texas occasionally.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Build and maintain awareness of Kemflo product lines, newer products, and competitor activities.
    • Assist in preparing and submitting quotations and proposals for custom inquiries.

    Injection Molding Set-up/Processing Technician

    We are always looking for setup and processing technicians. The technician would be responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process from setup to processing material to the maintenance of the model and machinery.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Set up and start molding machines.
    • Assure that mold setup, changeovers, and housekeeping standards are met.
    • Prepare materials based on orders for all machines.
    • Ensure new start-up jobs run correctly, making any necessary adjustments.
    • Troubleshoot processing issues including normal adjustments and checks.
    • Communicate with the mold maker regarding issues with the tooling.
    • Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meet the production goals.
    • Work with production personnel to ensure molded parts meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.
    • Review and inspect machines daily for maintenance issues and report any to the maintenance department.
    • Maintain cleanliness of all manufacturing equipment, molds, and work areas and floor around molding machines
    • Verify and update equipment documentation daily.
    • Assist in monitoring process conditions to ensure production meets customer specifications.
    • In conjunction with other departments, participate in identifying and analyzing non-conformance or production/quality problems; and developing, implementing
    • Working knowledge with pneumatic and hydraulics
    • Label, monitor and clean material hoppers

    Focus on Position

    As a Mold Maker you will be responsible for the repair, improvement, and maintenance of plastic injection molds. Your main function is to support production by completing work within the demands of the regular production schedule. Perform regular scheduled PM’s on tooling. Capable of machining components to tight tolerances. Fully understands the principles and construction of plastic injection molds and is capable of in press repairs.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Performs preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds and hot runner systems, including disassembly, cleaning, inspecting for damage or wear, completing repairs and re-assembly.
    • Fabricate mold inserts, mold components, fixture and tooling with and without engineering prints and 3-D CAD molds using milling, turning, grinding, EDM machines.
    • Fits and assembles parts and tests completed molds for proper operation.
    • Support production team members to ensure proper quality output and safe operations.
    • Complies with all safety requirements and instructions.
    • Verifies conformance of repaired injection molds or related tooling to specification by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments using various test equipment, consistently working to close tolerances.
    • Operates overhead crane to remove and/or relocate molds to specific workstations/areas.
    • Completes computer data entry as necessary.
    • Maintains a neat work area and cleans up during and at the end of his or her shift. Provides general maintenance and cleanup of all Tool room equipment.
    • Works cooperatively and communicates with manufacturing.

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Mold Maker(431A) a must
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in mold making and injection molding field as a journeyman.
    • Must be able to operate all common tool room machinery in a safe and productive manner.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Use of CAD/CAM systems and computer systems are an asset.
    • Must be able to provide technical knowledge on mold repairs.
    • Must possess good problem-solving skills to properly repair tools and fixtures.
    • Applicants with TIG welding skills would be preferred.
    • Experience working with Injection Molding Machines is an asset.
    • Experience with various hot runner applications including valve gate systems is recommended.
    • Must be familiar with Preventative Maintenance systems.

    Focus on Position

    The focus of this position is to install, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair Kemflo’s stationary machinery and mechanical equipment. You will be required to provide daily maintenance updates, as well as implementing a preventative maintenance program.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Read mechanical blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
    • Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as overhead cranes to position machinery and parts during installation, and repair of machinery.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
    • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
    • Repair and maintain in good working order Robotics systems, and automation.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and programmable logic controls (PLC).
    • Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
    • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
    • Assemble and align machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
    • Repair all tools with necessary hydraulic & pneumatic system.

    Documentation is an essential part of this jobYou will be responsible for recording daily, monthly, and annual maintenance activities. You will always have to provide documents and reports to management.

    Education & Training

    • Completion of secondary school is required.
    • Completion of three to four years apprenticeship program or over five years of work experience in a trade school for industrial machinery repair or millwrighting.

    • Must be able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly.
    • Ability to utilize tools, equipment, and measuring/calibration/diagnostic devices.
    • Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
    • Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation.

    • Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs or fixtures.

    • Repair, rework, or calibrate hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances.
    • Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment.
    • Complete documentation as per ISO Standards.
    • Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and Robotics control systems.
    • Set-up, install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment.

    Education & Training
